CSS-GENERATOR-Design and Technology

Решил опубликовать подборку материалов по верстке для таких же чокнутых DIY-щиков как и я, предпочитающих все делать своими руками, а не отдавать на аутсорс. Понимаю, что это очень непродуктивно, сам уже задолбался так работать, но ничего поделать со своей натурой не могу.

Итак.

1. Статья “Современные тенденции в веб-дизайне”. Базовая инфа для новичков, в общем-то.

2. Статья “70 идей экспертов для улучшения CSS кода”. Лучше один раз потратить время и научиться работать правильно, чем придумывать велосипед для каждого сайта.

3. Различные онлайновые инструменты - генераторы фоновых изображений, блоков с закругленными краями, коллекции иконок, сервисы подбора шрифтов и т.п. - куча полезного. Рекомендую покопаться.

4. На Digg недавно выложили, а чувак с diggreader.ru перевел - 40 сайтов, напичканных вдохновением. В основном это каталоги красивых дизайнов типа cssremix.com или csselite.com . Отличные места для того, чтобы брать идеи и мелкие детали интерфейсов :)

5. Эксеншны для firefox, необходимые дизайнеру. Конечно, в первую очередь это невероятный Firebug, также могут пригодиться MeasureIt (линейка, которой можно мерять расстояния на странице), ColorZilla (стандартная пипетка - показывает цвет заданного пикселя) и ScrapBook (сохраняет страницу для последующего просмотра в офлайне).

ScrapBook действительно обалденная штука.

Chitika Premium Ads Promise Highest eCPM

Chitika has released new Chitika Premium advertising units that are designed be your highest performing ad unit (with highest eCPM) ever. If your site gets lots of US traffic, then you can optimize these interactive advertisements to your site and earn money from Chitika easily.

So how does it work? Chitika Premium ads will only show to U.S. traffic, and since they are behaviorally targeted they will only display to some U.S. users. When your Premium ad unit does display for a visitor it will show them advertisements they are interested in. If there are no ads to display, the unit collapses away. Great.

Chitika Premium ad units are also available is various sizes to suit your site design - 468×180, 468×60, 468×90, 728×90, 300×250, 120×600 and 160×600. You can target using keywords of your choice and track earning using channels. However, you cannot change the fall back categories.

The Box Tube WordPress theme was designed for bloggers focused on producing content involving technology, mobile, or gadget blogs. Aesthetically, the theme is extremely appealing as it features CSS-styled images, contrasting colors, and an overall clean look.

There is also plenty of room for adding ads if you wish to magnetize your blog. The space is large enough to accommodate 250px banner ads or four to six 125×125px “box” ads. Social bookmarking links have been ingenuously built into the footer of each post.

Overall, the theme features two columns with the ability to widgetize the sidebars and three column footer. With the slow but steady success of The WordPress Master Theme - WP Remix, I am inspired to release a free but quality Wordpress theme. And as promised few days back, The WP Premium theme is going public today. “WordPress Premium” is an elegantly designed, 2/3 column, feature packed, widget ready theme that comes with three color-scheme options.

Color Schemes

When I requested user opinions last week, some of them said, why not release in all three colors? And I felt the same. The theme is bundled with all three colors. To change complete color scheme, all you need to do is, open the style.css and change the color style name to your favorite one. More instructions are in readme.txt file in the theme folder. As per suggestion of one of the user, WP Premium contains separate css for layout and color. That means if you only wish to change colors, you don’t have to mess with the other css styling.

Here is the blue version of our latest make money blogger template first converted here at eBlog Templates. This amazing PassionDuo template for Blogger comes in three colors: red, blue, and green. The green version will eventually become available so if red or blue isn’t your thing, you might want to wait.

This template includes several popular ad formats for your blog. You get a 468 x 60 banner spot in the header, six 125 x 125 banner spots in the right sidebar, and plenty of other sidebar spots for skyscraper banners.

We’ve also included our popular sidebar widgets such as Recent Posts, Recent Comments, and the cool Feedjit (real time visitor widget). Just paste in your blog rss feed urls into the Recent Posts & Comments widgets and they’ll start working.

Unlike most other custom make money blogger templates, we’ve taken the extra step and setup the “Fonts & Colors” functionality. Let’s start with the 468 x 60 header banner. Search for “” in the template code and the first one you come across is where you replace the ad.

The second instance of “” is for the Google AdSense code which you can either keep, replace, or just remove completely.

For the six 125 x 125 banner ads you’ll need to find “” and update those one by one. Make sure not to delete the

before and after each ad otherwise it will look funny. If you don’t already have ads to use, I recommend clicking through each banner and become an affiliate. Then you can replace the affiliate codes with your own and start making money!
